Lab Six Australia - Since joining the Lab Six team in February of 2017, Paulo (aka Midsole) has carefully passed down his years of knowledge and industry experience to his students engulfed in the world of DJing. Paulo’s talent and copious amounts of exposure in the scene allowed him to gain a multitude of nightclub residencies throughout Perth as well as support and DJ alongside international artists including A-Trak, Baauer, Grandtheft, A$AP Ferg, Lunice, and Mr. Carmack to name a few. Apart from Paulo’s passion for mixing a wide array of music, it was the art of turntablism that really enticed him into self-teaching himself to DJ in 2011. In a short period of time Paulo quickly made his mark in Perth’s DJ and music scene. His world-class technical abilities on the turntables lead him to win the DMC Australia Scratch Title in 2018, taking him to London where he placed #6 in the world.
